Sad news

My sister notified me this afternoon that one of my younger cousins suffered a massive heart attack today and passed as a result.
My aunt lost the younger son some years ago as well. All that remains is the daughter. My aunt had been married twice. The first husband died of a heart attack in 1972 and the second one to the same in 1985 while I was deployed.
Rick was an HM2, Retired and worked in physical therapy. When I lived in Wichita, we went fishing together.

It's another one of those moments that tell me I'm getting old........
I have to admit that Bailee looks great.

I go these via text message from The Youngest Daughter yesterday or Tuesday.............
Amanda took Bailee(and her boyfriend, Jacob) and Piper to the Zoo on Tuesday the 7th.

It was Bailee's last day of Junior High. This coming Fall she will be a Freshman in High School.

One of those subtle reminders that I may be getting old.

Yes, I am wearing an ear ring, a sterling silver dream catcher to be precise. It goes well with the shaved head................................

BTW, I took extra time and care when I shaved my head that morning. Missus ORPO got a new hair colour as well.
Yes, Buck, I wore a tie and a purple shirt. Both items were OK'd by the Niece early that morning..................The Niece won...........it was her day.
