Nowhere or somewhere really close


Different views of Rogers Dry Lake. This is the lake bed that is/was the divert for the Space Shuttles. From the hill to the west along Lancaster Boulevard.
In case anyone was wondering where the middle of nowhere is, it's here!

When I met the wife her address was 2 miles south and 2 miles east of the Yermo, CA Union depot. The insertion point of the would enema was about 1/2 mile east of there at the Yermo Dump. MUD

Apropos of nothing... there were a LOT of Urals running around in Ol' Blighty when I was stationed there. I told the wife we'd look really good on/in one. She disagreed, the kill-joy.
