The Sterling "Affair"

My 2 cents is more eloquently explained by Colonel West.
In my view he is entitled to his opinion and beliefs. This is a transgression of individual liberty. What Mr. Sterling said was reprehensible, no doubt in that case. If he was recorded without his consent, that is against the law in California.
I do not follow the NBA at all so the only thing I have of interest in this is in the manner in which the Vigilance Committees flew in to action.
Personally I hope that Mr. Sterling sues the league.

This evening in Israel we mark the Holocaust Remembrance Day. We remember the 6,000,000 Jews who perished in the Holocaust as a result of the actions carried out by Nazi Germany and its accessories, and for the Jewish resistance in that period.

Weather related aches and pains

The weather took a turn yesterday and I am now feeling it.
There was a front that came through over the Tehachapi and Southern Sierras. We had rain and cold wind come in. At least I got my jet's preflight done along with the canopy clean and polish before the rain hit the line.
I have aches in all of my leg joints, the arthritis in the shoulders said Good Morning and my sinuses are full of crud thanks to all the blowing dust and sand before the rain.
The High Wind "Advisory" is still in effect until Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Blog Bud Buck has it spot on with "Gettin Old Ain't For Sissies!"

CT Scan Results

Got the letter in today's mail from my doc in Tehachapi.
CT scan did not show any new problems/no suspicious areas.
So far so good. I have to keep getting these until I am 61, which is not that far away.......................................

Easter/Passover Weekend In The Desert

Did Saturday and part of today out by the Desert Tortoise Area. Weather was great and did a high speed ride in a friend's Sand Rail............Gotta get me one of those. Kids and dogs everywhere. Missus ORPO and I even brought stuff for the kids.
Good chow in Dutch Ovens and High Quality Malt Beverages were around as well.
