This museum is about two hours and fifteen minutes from me......one of these days...............before I go to that Flight Deck in The Sky..................
Happy Hour
Mother, Mother Ocean
Wanted to sail upon your waters since I was three feet tall
You've seen it all, you've seen it all
In your belly you hold the treasures, few have ever seen
Most of 'em dream, most of 'em dream
The cannons don't thunder, there's nothin' to plunder
I'm an over-forty victim of fate
Arriving too late, arriving too late
Yoda
―Yoda, to Luke Skywalker
Counted the Stars
Wishing we were rockets bursting in the sky
Talking about redemption and leaving things behind
I have these pictures and I keep these photographs
To remind me of a time
These pictures and these photographs
Let me know I'm doin' fine
We used to be so happy once upon a time
Once upon a time
But the sun sank west of the Mendocino County Line
And the sun sank west of the Mendocino County Line

Video: Hey, The Harrier Jump Jet Don't Need No Stinkin' Nose Gear!
At AirPigz.
It has been going around the net for a few days now but I thought, what the heck? It's a Saturday in the Desert and Really Frikkin Hot outside! http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/california-city-ca/93505/weather-forecast/39121_pc
Back to the reason for the post.........That Harrier recovering aboard USS Bataan with out a nose gear down and locked.............
I do believe this still photo shows how the Flight Deck Crew of Bataan improvised a piece of Crash and Salvage equipment to solve a difficult situation.
Go Navy!

Classic American Literature
I read Catch-22 for the first time some 46 years ago. I was in the 8th grade at Kaiserslautern American High School.
The one line in this novel has had an affect on me since then. That was "And Snowden lay dying in back."
To this day, I have no idea why it still does.

USS George H.W. Bush to Move into Arabian Gulf
Think the Admin did not realize what could happen when he told the bad guys when we were pulling out?
The World Wonders.
Anniversary at Pismo Beach
Good eating establishments are there as well. Motel 6 was a fairly good deal for being out there on the coast.
Good place to go, in our humble opinion.
