For Hockey Fans. A sad day

Former Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawk, Bob Probert, died today after collapsing during a family outing on Lake St. Clair. He was taken to Windsor Regional Medical Centre but could not be revived. He was only 45. He leaves a wife, Dani and four children. The details are at the NHL website.
Probert was fifth all time in penalty minutes. He was a tough guy on the ice.
I know this will touch Buck. Red Wing fans are like that. I liked the guy just because of his game.

  1. Probie's death did indeed touch me. He was one of my first hockey heroes, the toughest of the Tough Guys, but a guy who also made it to the All-Star game (once). He was known as an enforcer but he could also skate, pass, shoot, and score. A lot of people will remember him for his flaws, but I remember him for his greatness. He gave me a LOT of great good memories while he wore the Winged Wheel.

    RIP, 24.
