Happy Hour

"IF A LIFETIME CAN BE LIKENED TO A DAY, THEN THIS IS HAPPY HOUR!"
BUCK PENNINGTON

Mother, Mother Ocean

Mother, Mother Ocean, I've heard you call
Wanted to sail upon your waters since I was three feet tall
You've seen it all, you've seen it all
Watched the men who rode you, switch from sails to steam
In your belly you hold the treasures, few have ever seen
Most of 'em dream, most of 'em dream
Yes, I am a pirate, two hundred year's too late
The cannons don't thunder, there's nothin' to plunder
I'm an over-forty victim of fate
Arriving too late, arriving too late

Counted the Stars

Counted the stars on the 4th of July
Wishing we were rockets bursting in the sky
Talking about redemption and leaving things behind
I have these pictures and I keep these photographs
To remind me of a time
These pictures and these photographs
Let me know I'm doin' fine
We used to be so happy once upon a time
Once upon a time
But the sun sank west of the Mendocino County Line
And the sun sank west of the Mendocino County Line

Chinese firm plans L.A.-to-Vegas train | CalWatchdog.com

Found while checking my news list......................................

"For bemused Californians, there’s another bullet train in town, thanks to the Chinese government.
More specifically, credit — $100 million worth — goes to China Railway International USA, a venture spearheaded by Beijing’s national railroad, China Railway. The consortium has ponied up funds for XpressWest, “the transportation arm of Marnell Companies, a gaming resort development firm,” as the Sacramento Business Journal noted.

Formerly known as DesertXpress, the company has labored to send a high-speed track toward Las Vegas since “at least 2007,” reported the Los Angeles Times.

According to Chinese officials cited by the Times, passengers would travel “a 230-mile route with an additional stop in Palmdale and eventual service throughout the Los Angeles area using some of the same track that would be used by the publicly backed California high-speed rail project.” Past plans envisioned a run of 185 miles alongside I-15.

The logic behind the idea drew from some straightforward numbers. “About one-quarter of Las Vegas’s 41 million visitors in 2014 came from Southern California, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, many via a several hour highway drive,” Quartz noted. Vegas has been without a passenger train since Amtrak shut down its Desert Wind line in 1997."
27 Sep, 2015-

Those big numbers tossed around like it's no big deal. If this system in both California and Nevada are built, I still have a minimum one hour drive to use it from where I live.
I'm thinking that Moonbeam is going after other sources of funding for the High Speed Train(Moonbeam's Crazy Train).
Just a thought.

Generals Say Troops Understand Need for Pay Cuts

Found this little item this morning.
Makes one go Hmmmmmmmmm.
"Personnel officials from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and the Department of Defense met with the House Armed Services' Military Personnel subcommittee to talk about cuts to pay and benefits the Pentagon is proposing for its upcoming budget.
These include a smaller pay raise -- 1 percent raise, an average 5 percent reduction in housing allowances, and higher health care fees for some retirees."
As a resident of a state where the dependent-entitled population is very high, I wonder when and if those things are even being considered for cuts. But then that would cause harm to the voting base of those legislators who like the paychecks and benefits of being the "Ruling Elite."
A lot of us busted our tails for twenty or more years and now we are almost to the point of being second class citizens.
Just the way I see things lately.
More is at the link.

Turn Them Over: Feinstein Moves To Ban ALL Assault Rifles, High Capacity Magazines, and Pistol Grips

I have always said this woman is a traitor. I hold to that even more so after this. It is the simple and unvarnished truth.
She has as a trademark of her tenure in the senate a track record of attacks on individual liberties.
Always remember this, Dianne Feinstein is a Traitor. Nothing else matters. She should be arrested and tried by a court of law.
She has failed to uphold that most critical part of the oath of office. That is to "preserve and protect the Constitution of The United States, against all enemies, foreign and domestic." This does, give aid and comfort to our enemies.

James Pisano at Google Plus on the election yesterday

Here's what I'm seeing from what happened last night:

1. The American people have spoken. Although I do not believe Conservatism is a minority mentality in America, what is exposed through the evidence from yesterday's election is that Conservatives are not well represented, and thus will not be able to well represent Americans in its political endeavours. This needs to change if America is going to become a powerful leader on the world stage again, instead of a complicit follower.

2. Americans, as a whole, do not understand the damage that has been done to our ability to sustain ourselves as a Nation. We've forgotten what self reliance means, and have traded hard work and dignity in for revenge politics a la Valarie Jarrett, David Axelrod and President Obama. America, to our dismay, has shown that the sensationalism of the dirty political game is what makes them happy.

3. We, as a Nation, are in for a devaluation of the dollar as a world currency. The world, as we know it, will begin to stop trading commodities in our currency and we will begin to see a downward spiral into banana republic status as we continue to try to print our way out of the obligations Keynesian fiscal policies will create for our progeny, and theirs. America will see its credit rating dropped from the As and we will become the biggest Greece this world has ever known. The rest of the world will be forced to cut us off for fear of our failure taking us down with them.

4. Because the House remained in GOP control and the Senate did not change control we will see a perpetual Continuing Resolution built on a 2009 budget baseline that included over $1T in spending that was intended to be temporary. Instead of what President Obama promised in a reduction of our National Debt and reduction of our Deficit Spending we will see at least $5T more added to our debt with $1.3T/yr deficit spending per year until Obama leaves office.

5. There will be continued attacks on the non-governmental institutions that have helped define what it means to be an American. The Constitution will see attack after attack as Justice Ginsburg retires and two more lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court are appointed by President Obama and Harry Reid. These appointments will be divisive, have defined designs on their personal interpretations of the Constitution and what it means in terms of how the Government can control the individual and the individual entity. We will see an increased fervor from those already in our Government for Command and Control governance, where the regulatory state will determine your outcome regardless of the legal ramifications of your actions within your state of residency. If you wish to succeed it will be at the behest of the Government, not because of your desire to do so.

6. Iran will be emboldened by our inability to throw off the shackles of tyranny which bind us to our fate. Ahmadinejad will see this election as akin to what happened in 2009 in Tahrir Square through violence and unproductive demonstration against a totalitarian regime, and recognize our unfulfilled will to oust a dictatorial despot as further evidence that we do not possess the means to prevent him from developing a nuclear device. Iran will reach that goal or Israel will be forced to stop them, and they will have to do so on their own. This will spark the powder keg that is the Middle East into what could very well become the catalyst to WW3. Under President Obama we will not be prepared to protect ourselves or our allies, and we will not be prepared to feed and power ourselves without the rest of the world's resources available for our purchase because the Command and Control state will not allow for continued domestic energy and agricultural development.

7. Because the President and those in the Senate will see their continued status in power as a mandate from the people for them to lead us to their designs of what this Nation should be we will see massive increases in taxes for the wealthy and what is known as the upper middle class. Those who have means will leave this country for nations friendlier to their wealth, and those who do not have means will suffer at the hands of a Nation that does not value their productivity as much as it values punishing it through wealth redistributive measures. Those who are in the so-called middle class will find it harder to succeed, and those who are poor will become poorer still. There will be a rash of selling of stock and a retraction from the market by those who have capital but are unwilling to spend it in anticipation of the increased taxation that will come beginning in 2013 and continue with the implementation of ObamaCare.

We're in for a very rough four years, everyone. If you measure our Nation's success in terms of the unemployment numbers and GDP, both are in store for a respective downturn as those who produce begin to find new markets to move their productive activities into. War will not become a thing of the past, and we will see many more instances where Libya's failures will become the norm.

We have been shown to be the moral minority. That doesn't need to be our death knell, but at present it will be discouraging. Do not despair. When confronted with the truths about Conservatism in the face of the lies of Liberalism and outside of the echo chamber that is the mainstream media, the American People invariably choose the former over the latter. We have to find a way to cleanse the GOP of those less than upstanding examples of who and what we stand for, and better educate those who are willing to listen. Our message is clear, but the minds of those receptive to it are not, and the hearts of those who would co-opt our souls for avarice and power are all too common.

This is not the end, everyone. It is a beginning. Fight Club and the Dogs of War are not dead. Eventually Americans will realize what they've done to themselves. Once they do we will be there to help guide them out of the dark and into the light that is Freedom, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

My two cents starts here.
I freely admit this, I am not very happy with what occurred last night. There have been many reports of improprieties around the country. I think the process was compromised in several locations. I will wait and see if there are proper investigations into such activity. I do have this little bit from a friend of mine in Madera County, California.
"In Madera County, voters were given TWO ballots for POTUS. I know...I vote in Madera Co. THAT is how obama won...double-voting." Pam McKinney.

"ABSOLUTE VOTER FRAUD. Across the board/across the nation. Look toward the union thugs. Remember, the Election Depts in YOUR county are run by government workers, the socialist democrats, the union members. In Madera County where 89% of the population is Mexican (and a LOT of them illegals), they were given TWO ballots. I KNOW. Republican Congressmen had better form an investigative committee and have every single democrat signature checked for legitimacy and then count the signatures against ballots. There WILL be more ballots than signatures." Pam McKinney.

Remember, this is a state that actively supports and coddles illegal aliens over and above the citizens. The Democrats, as they are called, are directly responsible for this. Governor Brown needs to be held accountable as well along with our Attorney General. That individual, Kamala Harris is a Card Carrying Member of the American Communist Party. Nuff said there.

After the shameful manner in which the voting was handled in many locals along with the blind faith of those who voted for a second term for the Current Occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, I will no longer give any respect to Barack Obama. To me he is a pretender, usurper and a charlatan.
I am now considering liquidation of assets and heading to Belize.

The unintended consequences are already happening as reflected in the Dow dropping 300 points immediately upon opening of the stock exchange.

The United States of America is no longer the Republic which I served for the best twenty years of my life. It is now a third world septic tank. We allowed UN representatives from other countries to "monitor" our electoral process. Our currency is not what it was at all. Our "leaders" act as if they could care less. I include a number of GOP Senators in this as well.

All of those who voted and enabled the outcome of last night are going to be surprised when things start to fall in on them as a result of their lack of proper judgement.

As for California, the liberals who make up the majority in this once vibrant and productive state have decided, among other things, that a tax hike is in order. Prop 30 was passed along with other dubious measures.

Diane Feinstein 'won' her fourth term in the Senate.Term limits seem like a good idea to me.
I guess I am done for now.

Stolen from my sister

Dennis Miller: What kind of morally bankrupt cretin tells my teenage daughter that voting for him is the same as losing your virginity?
It does make one go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Or does it cause one to become angry and outraged at such conduct?
I go with the latter.
Got to hand it to Dennis Miller for the description of the current occupant: morally bankrupt cretin is a new one on me.
That description seems so fitting as observing the current occupant's demeanor and carriage during this campaign season.

In Health Care Ruling, Roberts Steals a Move From John Marshall's Playbook

This was in The Atlantic by Daniel Epps.
I recommend reading the entire piece.
I may lay off of the Chief Justice after all. I admit that I am a bit on the hot headed side when it comes to the current occupant and the congress because of the massive stupid that they are so very capable of on a daily basis.

So here is the scoop from Daniel Epps with a link at the end.
There are eerie parallels between today's decision and a legendary case from Thomas Jefferson's time.
marshall-top.jpgA John Marshall statue presides over D.C.'s Judiciary Square (AgnosticPreachersKid/Wikimedia Commons)

Earlier today, the Supreme Court, by a narrowly divided vote, upheld the individual mandate, a key component of President Obama's signature piece of legislation, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Obama supporters are letting out a collective sigh of relief, as most observers expected the mandate -- and possibly the entire Act -- to fall after the oral argument. Conservatives are conversely upset that Chief Justice Roberts -- the deciding vote in the case -- snatched defeat for conservatives from the jaws of victory, given that there were four votes to strike down the Act in its entirety.

Although the decision is certainly a win for Obama and Democrats, it's by no means a clear-cut victory. And while the Chief Justice is taking a lot of heat from the right, the way he handled the case might actually turn out to be a brilliant strategic move -- one that could very well define his judicial career, and could actually be the optimal outcome for Republicans.

To explain -- and I promise this historical detour will be worth it -- we should note unexpected parallels to Marbury v. Madison, the 1803 case in which the Supreme Court, in an opinion by Chief Justice Marshall, established that it had the power of judicial review: i.e. to declare federal laws unconstitutional. The very simplified background is this: The petitioner, William Marbury, had been nominated as a justice of the peace by President John Adams at the very end of Adams's term, right before Thomas Jefferson took office. The Senate confirmed the nomination.

Unfortunately for Marbury, he never got his hands on his commission. Marbury's nominations had been part of a large slew of judicial nominations pursuant to the Judiciary Act of 1801 -- a statute passed by the Federalists after the 1800 election as a last minute attempt to stack the bench with Federalist judges before Jefferson and his party took office. Once Jefferson was sworn in, his secretary of state, James Madison, refused to deliver the undelivered commissions and the new Congress got to work repealing the Judiciary Act of 1801.

Marbury went to the Supreme Court, asking the Court to issue a writ of mandamus -- an order telling Madison he had to deliver the commission to Marbury. The Court was full of Federalists like Marshall, but Jefferson thought he had the justices boxed in. They could either rule that Marbury's rights hadn't been violated, vindicating Jefferson's supposition that the appointments did not need to be honored. Or they could issue a writ of mandamus ordering the secretary of state to deliver Marbury's commission. But Jefferson would likely have simply ignored it, in which case the Court's credibility would have been permanently damaged.

Chief Justice Marshall did something no one expected: writing for the Court, he ruled that Marbury's rights had been violated, thereby refusing to give a judicial imprimatur to Jefferson and Madison's actions. But his opinion did not issue a writ of mandamus that the Administration could simply ignore. Instead, it provided no remedy to Marbury, because of a technicality: The statute under which he had sought mandamus relief authorized such petitions to be filed directly in the Supreme Court. But Marshall concluded that that statute was unconstitutional, because in the Court's reading it could only authorize appellate jurisdiction over mandamus suits. In doing so, the Court built its own power and prestige by establishing that it had a power it was not necessarily assumed to have before: the authority the strike down federal statutes that violated the Constitution. But in doing so, the Court gave Jefferson absolutely nothing he could use politically: the opinion clearly rebuked his actions, but it didn't give him an order he could defy.

The parallels here are eerie. President Obama was ready for the Court to uphold the mandate -- in which case he would have trumpeted the decision as a vindication of the law and a rejection of Republican criticism that Democrats had overreached. And he similarly, was ready for the Court to strike down the mandate, or even the whole Act (apparently, he had three different speeches prepared for all the possibilities). He'll never read those speeches, but he almost certainly would have challenged the Court head-on and tried to make its conservative bent into a wedge issue in his campaign -- he has been quite willing to politicize the Court in the past. There was no prospect that Obama would have ignored the ruling -- as Jefferson might have ignored a mandamus writ -- but the ensuing political struggle could have damaged the Court's credibility. And it might very well have hurt Roberts's legacy in particular, given that there had been a focused attempt in the press to paint a narrative about him as the leader of a Court out to get Democrats and Obama.

So the president was ready for the Court to break right or break left. But instead, Chief Justice Roberts juked. He agreed with the challengers that the mandate couldn't be justified under the Commerce Clause or even the Necessary and Proper Clause -- thereby reinforcing the narrative that the Democratic Congress overreached in passing the bill. His opinion -- though not the result -- may provide much help in the future to judicial conservatives, as it suggests that, with the dissent, five justices are in favor of a more aggressive role for the Court in policing the bounds of the Commerce Clause (and the Spending Clause, which was at issue in the Medicaid legislation). And while Roberts ultimately voted to uphold the Act, he did so on a ground that, for Obama, plays terribly: that it's a tax.

Now, much as Jefferson was two centuries ago, Obama is boxed in. What is he to do? He can't criticize the Court for judicial activism, as it upheld the law (putting aside the way the Court limited the Medicaid provisions, which are not particularly salient to voters). The decision undercuts a potential theme of his campaign -- that a conservative Court is out of control. And yet Obama can't trumpet the decision either, since it states that Democrats overreached in trying to justify the law under the Commerce Clause. Worse yet, it calls the mandate something that Democrats didn't want it to be: a tax.

Conversely, the decision may be the optimal result for Mitt Romney. If the Court had struck down the mandate, it would have taken off the table an issue that Republican base voters care tremendously about. But in upholding the law, the Court didn't just leave that issue on the table; it gave Romney tremendous ammunition he can use to criticize Obama as a tax raiser.

There was much contrarian wisdom floating around prior to the decision about how a defeat might be helpful to Obama, as he could run against the Court. Jeffrey Toobin criticized this as "nonsense": "Winners win, and losers lose." We'll never know if Obama could have potentially won by losing the health care case. But the coming months will tell whether he might have lost by winning.

Quote Of The CENTURY :

I got this from my friend Michael Bredlau.
Makes one go Hmmmmmmmmm!
And I now live in the Not So Golden State and I can't stand any of these "ladies."
I have known trollops in the past with better character than any of them.

"Frankly, I don't know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I'm not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we're number one. There's no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on 'Macbeth'. The four of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don't know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words." -- columnist Burt Prelutsky, Los Angeles Times

Have to admit the 'Macbeth" reference is a dandy!

A Classic from a friend

How's this for apocalyptic literature?
This was written by a pastor's wife in biblical prose as a commentary of current events. It is brilliant.

And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity
that the people of the land called America ,
having lost their morals, their initiative,
and their Will to defend their liberties,
chose as their Supreme Leader that
Person known as "The One."

He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning;
but He Hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you."
My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego,
and my Association with evil doers are of no consequence.
I shall save you With hope and Change.
Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the Land
that he who proceeded me is evil,
that he has defiled the nation,
And that all he has built must be destroyed.
And the people rejoiced,
For even though they knew not what "The One" would do,
he had promised That it was good; and they believed.
And "The One" said
" We live in the greatest country in the world.
Help me change everything about it!"
And the people said, "Hallelujah! Change is good!"
Then He said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats."
And the People said "Sock it to them!"
"And redistribute their wealth."
And The people said, "Show us the money!"
And the he said,
"Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody.."

And Joe the plumber asked, " Are you kidding me?
You're going to Steal my money and give it to the deadbeats??"
And "The One" Ridiculed and taunted him,
and Joe's personal records were hacked and publicized.
One lone reporter asked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?"
And she was Banished from the kingdom.
Description: cid:image004.jpg@01CC602B.39924810
Then a citizen asked, "With no foreign relations experience and
Having zero military experience or knowledge,
how will you deal with Radical terrorists?"
And "The One" said, "Simple. I shall sit with
Them and talk with them and show them how nice we really are;
and they Will forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!" And the people
Said, "Hallelujah!! We are safe at last,
and we can beat our weapons Into free cars for the people!"

Then "The One" said "I shall give 95% of you lower taxes."
And one, Lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes.
" So "The One" Said, "Then I shall give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!"
And the people said, "Hallelujah! Show us the money!"
Then "The One" said, "I shall tax your Capital Gains when you sell Your homes!"
And the people yawned and the slumping housing market Collapsed.
And He said. "I shall mandate employer-funded health care
For every worker and raise the minimum wage.
And I shall give every Person unlimited healthcare and medicine
and transportation to the Clinics."
(And no Muslim shall pay for their share of healthcare.)
And the people said, "Give me some of that!"
Then he said, "I shall penalize employers who ship jobs overseas."
And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?"
Description: cid:image006.jpg@01CC602B.39924810
Then "The One" said,
"I shall bankrupt the coal industry and Electricity rates will skyrocket!"
And the people said, "Coal is Dirty, coal is evil, no more coal!
But we don't care for that part About higher electric rates.
"So "The One" said, Not to worry.
If Your rebate isn't enough to cover your expenses, we shall bail you out.
Just sign up with the ACORN and you troubles are over!"
Then He said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted.
Let's Grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches,
Free medical care, bilingual signs and guaranteed housing...
" And The people said, "Hallelujah!" and they made him king!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs
And Ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers.
Others Simply gave up and went out of business
and the economy sank like unto
A rock dropped from a cliff.
The banking industry was destroyed.
Manufacturing slowed to a Crawl.
And more of the people were without a means of support.

Then "The One" said, "I am the "the One"- The Messiah –
and I'm here To save you!
We shall just print more money so everyone will have Enough!"
But our foreign trading partners said unto Him.
"Wait a Minute. Your dollar is not worth a pile of camel dung!
You will have to pay more...
And "The One" said, "Wait a minute.
That is unfair!!"
And the world said, "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have embraced.
Lo, you have become a Socialist state and a second-rate power.
Now you shall play by our rules!"

And the people cried out, "Alas, alas!! What have we done?"
But yea, verily, it was too late.
The people set upon The One
and spat upon him and stoned him, and his name was dung.
And the once mighty nation was no more;
and the once proud people were without sustenance or shelter or hope.
And the Change "The One" had given them was as like unto a poison
that had destroyed them and like a whirlwind that consumed all that they had built.

And the people beat their chests in despair and cried out in anguish,
"give us back our nation and our pride and our hope!!"
But it was too late, and their homeland was no more.

You may think this a fairy tale, but it's not. It's happening RIGHT NOW!

THIS really tells it like it is.
After reading it -- and before you go into the bathroom to throw-up –
forward it to your friends and those you know who care about our country
and what is happening to it under the rule of Commissar Obamanation.

P.S. -- Yeah, this is too true to be funny..
Tragic, but not funny; Tragic but true.
IF YOU CAN'T SEE THIS HAPPENING....
JUST RUB YOUR EYES AND BLINK A FEW MORE TIMES REALLY GOOD.

Thanks and a Hat Tip to James E. Frame at Facebook for this one.

Palin: When does Karzai apologize for one of his troops killing two of our soldiers over the Koran-burning?

This one was at Hot Air.
The apologizer in chief is at it again.
http://hotair.com/archives/2012/02/23/palin-when-does-karzai-apologize-for-one-of-his-troops-killing-two-of-our-soldiers-over-the-koran-burning/
I am so sick and tired of the effluent that flows from the Sand Crawler and his mouth piece, Jay "Stumbles" Carney.
That is all that we can expect from the Sand Crawler? As for Karzai........fuel-air warheads are a definite necessity here.
As Buck would possibly say...........time for The Diety at Hand to intervene and right the ship that is Our Republic.
Here is an excerpt........about the waste of sperm known as Jay Carney...........................

Jay Carney added a Romney-esque flourish by offering his own “severe apologies”during a White House gaggle this afternoon. He’d better be prepared to ramp up the adjectives tomorrow: Friday is, after all, the day of prayers, so if you think the uproar is insane now, wait until demonstrators reconvene after a morning of sermons about how demonic America is. Exit quotation from Eli Lake: “It would be nice if just once Afghans would protest how the Taliban kills innocents and sells drugs.”

Gas price too high?  Thank the greens, Dems, and Clinton

We must add in the current maggot in the white house as well..........along with that shit bird salazar at interior.
It was at $4.219 for regular today in Cal City. Yesterday it was $4.019.
I blame Obama. No getting around it. His administration is detrimental to every thing we do in what was a normal life for most of us. What a low life.
And I saw a bit where he completely denies any and all culpability and responsibility. Sort of his MO, ain't it? A young man in the Armed Forces who behaved in this manner would be in the brig at a minimum for performance such as this.

Navy Biofuel Contract: Another Solyndra?

..........At a time when the military budget is under attack and is being cut, the Department of Agriculture and Department of the Navy announced earlier this month (December, 2011) that the Navy bought 450,000 gallons of biofuel at $26 per gallon, $16 per gallon if the biofuel is mixed with regular jet fuel. That is up to nine times the cost of regular jet fuel. In August, 2011, the Obama administration announced their intentions to spend $510 million during the next three years to buy advanced “drop-in” biofuel for military transportation. The purchase is part of the Obama administration’s “We Can’t Wait” initiative, which involves bypassing Congress when possible. And all of this comes as Obama cancels the Keystone XL oil pipeline that would facilitate access to the estimated 1.7 trillion barrels of oil in North America.............

"We Can't Wait" OK. So the rush to bypass the Congress and do business via "executive order" is starting to show some serious problems.
$26 a gallon? So the forces will simply have to stay at home now due to the extreme cost of operating in what is for them a normal manner? I knew the Sand Crawler In Chief hated us but he has taken that to a completely new level................
The rest is at the link.

Indictment: St. Joseph was hub of nationwide immigration scheme

This was on Google + this evening. I wonder how McCaskill is going to spin this one. Curious as to what the citizens of  Buchanan County are thinking about it right now. Interesting.

The Fucking I got today!

Courtesy of the Asswipes inside the Beltway. Chief among them is that worthless sand crawler that currently occupies the oval office.
This is a bit of what happened today. The Sand Crawler in the White House and his minions, trolls and slugs are hosing over the Armed Forces Retirees. Sorry if the amounts are not what some would consider excessive but it is the severe increases from what it was. Percentages. And straight up, folks, we who served for long periods do not owe anyone else a damn thing anymore. Even the Sand Crawler in Chief is not good enough to kiss our asses.
I discovered my TriCare co pay for prescriptions took a near vertical rise in cost. I picked up my prescriptions today. What was a three dollar co pay for ninety days is now fifteen dollars times three medications. The other one is at twelve dollars. That was fifteen dollars for what was eighteen dollars before. Seems that someone inside the Beltway is out to hose over all Armed Forces Retirees. That is the only thing I can surmise. Why do all of you who support the CinC, blindly, hate us so? It is the only thing I can gather from this. WE ARE OWED! Regardless of what we do for a living. I do make a good living. But this boils down to right versus wrong. These benefits were EARNED doing what the ordinary American would not or in case of my generation refused to do. I include most of the Congress in that as well.

Polite but blunt. I called Congressman McCarthy's office in Bakersfield and got a staffer. The paperwork is enroute to the house. I also left voicemails with my senators. Those stirling witches we are saddled with, Babs and Dumb Diane. I was polite but let my irritation and anger show.
The promise..........broken. I will never pop tall at attention for any office holder ever again. Never. I will insult their ancestory, call them vile names but never, ever show anything resembling respect, again.

A really good one from Buck at EIP

May?

May think they're irresponsible?  MAY?  I fail to see how any reasonable American could think otherwise.  It takes the utmost in restraint to watch these Super-Committee asshats from BOTH parties pontificating on my teevee night after night, and by that I mean NOT throwing sumthin' large and heavy at my screen.  I particularly find members of the Donkey-party reprehensible when they drone on and on about "jobs," when it comes to the impending sequestration and other contexts.  WTF do THEY know about jobs, anyway?  And while we're on the subject, there's this:

Joe Wilson Was Right: Obamacare Funded Clinics Won’t Check Immigration Status Of Patients

We were lied to? Say it ain't so.
Oh wait a minute, the SNIC does nothing but lie and pontificate. Mostly lie.
Somewhere I read that he is a pathological liar. No argument from me on that one. Not at all.
Joe Wilson had him pegged that day. He should have never apologized, ever. Not to that worthless piece of cow flop we have filling the slot of the president.
When President Barack Obama stood before Congress and told them the taxpayer money funding ObamaCare would not be used to proved health care to illegal immigrants, Rep. Joe Wilson promptly shouted, “YOU LIE!”

Dem: US credit down because of military spending

Two words, Barney Frank.
That should give you an idea of what is in the link.
Barney Frank. Geez.
What is going to be his target in the Military Budget?
F-35? V-22? New ships? New Armor?
But this is from AP, so grains of salt are advised.
