Navy Littoral Combat Ship named 'USS Wichita'

The last USS Wichita was AOR-1 in service from June 1966 to March 1993. Before that it was CA-45 in service from July 1939 to July 1946(Placed in Reserve)

The ceremony was carried on KAKE TV Wichita.
A proud moment for an adopted Kansas boy!

Even if it is a Little Crappy Ship, I hope to get a ball cap and t-shirt!
