8. You’re completely unphased when you encounter a tractor or a horseback rider while driving. |
13. You’ve been late to something because you (and half the town) got stuck behind a passing train. |
These two I picked out are right out of my youth in small towns in Montana and Alberta.

Those two happen here in the North State, too.
The patience of those encountering them is proportional to the length of time they've lived here.
