There's lots of Steve McQueen stories of his riding...and driving. But it is true, much to the consternation of his insurance company - he would be dirt biking at weekend races.

And on reflection with a motorcycle accident, like Bob Dylan I think Lex started thinking about writing when he had his accident with his Harley Sportster.

Me? I have always been fascinated with bikes - if I lived out in the country I would probably have one but the way people drive here...
