This one takes the cake. Along the lines of what is happening in Grand Forks ND with the UND Fighting Sioux.
Kind of makes one wonder about some folks, ya know. As one could guess, I like the logo. When I was in HS in Bow Island, Alberta from 68 to 71, I considered a career in the Canadian Armed Forces. Mom threw a fit and we moved back to the States.Liberals Oppose New Winnipeg Team Logo

Interesting article. BTW "Fighting Sioux" is one of the best names in college sports. IF they played in the "big time" the outrage and screeching would be deafening.
Division 1 Hockey is the big time. It is the only major college sport I follow.
True enough. I follow college football and if the Fighting Sioux were as well known as the FSU Seminoles the outrage would be through the roof.
The thing is the name is used under an agreement with a band of the Sioux. It is all legal. The NCAA is in lockstep with the PC movement. And as such, I have no use for said organization. It started when they left Kansas for NYC.
