This next pay check will be a nice one even with arnold, willie and old moonbeam up in Sacramento doing their level best to hose me out of as much as possible. Something that nancy, harry, dipshit chuckie, babs, dianne and those other two bitches from Washington are already in the process of doing IAW the rat bastard, commie, junkie in the White House.
There were many reasons why I left California almost seven years ago, to the day. But the tax burden was a BIG one. Maybe not the biggest... I was living in SFO, after all... and there's a lot to both like and NOT like about that place. But CA taxed my AF retirement, one of the few states that do that. So. Back to Texas, kinda-sorta.
ReplyDeleteShorter: I feel yore pain!
Just today for the OT. We got the flyers for Monday ready to go. But it was eleven hours making it about a 400 dollar day. Kansas and Montana taxed my retirement also. But both were done only after a certain dollar amount was reached.
ReplyDeleteBut I do have a thirty percent service connected rating so that is about 400 of the 1400 a month that is non-taxable. That is why the starting rate for what I do is a WG-10 at 24.37 per hour. They can't get anyone to come here otherwise. Both the AF and the contractors at China Lake are having trouble getting good airplane mechanic types. Obtaining a secret clearance is a major concern. I may have to tap dance after being in and out of work for the last two years.
