The Constellation arrived a couple of weeks ago. She still has her island, for now.
The three Good Ships I made cruises in are scheduled for this as well.
Those who have gone down to the sea in ships will not really understand. It causes us to shed a tear or two.

Man this is sad.
ReplyDeleteForrestal and Saratoga were both tied up at the pier in Newport when I arrived in Little Rhody for to begin my civilian career.
Now that pier is empty.
Damn. Just damn.
I hope to get to Bremerton to see the three I made my deployments on or to Brownsville when one of them arrives...............It may not go well.
