Family and Friends Day Cruise on USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76
I was so lucky today, April 9. Blogbud, Christopher Goodrich and his daughter, The WSO got me a trip out to sea on USS Ronald Reagan CVN 76.
Damn, it was a Blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy crap, I am a former carrier sailor and live in Huntington Beach. Yesterday, April 9th at 11:25AM we had a large hard shake that felt like an earthquake. I checked the earthquake sites and nothing. I told my wife it was probably a sonic boom from a fighter. Well, lo and behold, the boom was attributed on the news to a fighter off the USS Ronald Reagan. How cool is that!
