This Is The Face Of Salvation When You're Outgunned In The US Army

This was at the Business Insider. Found it on my stream at Google+.
This is the one Air Force jet that I do like.
A few of the shots for you, plus the link.

The A-10 is more commonly known as the "Warthog" or "Hog"

It fires 30mm caliber rounds and can fire up to 3,500 rounds per minute

This is the GAU-8 Avenger Gatling gun, the cannon on the nose of the plane

  1. After my stint as a Coastie I lived in near Alexandria, La. not too far from the now defunct England AFB. It was a ground support base and trained with the grunts at nearby FT. Polk. I used to watch the A10 making runs on the Claiborne Range while I was fishing on the numerous lakes in the area.

The sound of that gun is awesome
