State & Local Michigan Bar Owners Bounce Lawmakers to Protest Smoking Ban

Some days, politicians could use a drink. But lawmakers in Michigan may soon find it harder to get one. 

Hundreds of bar owners in the Great Lakes State plan to deprive lawmakers of their hospitality by banning them from their establishments in protest of the state's smoking ban.

  1. That is good. We are losing more and more freedom every day. The other afternoon I had to get some "cold medicine" and had to fill out a form like I was applying for a loan. Ridiculous.

  2. I have had "issues" already with the nanny staters. But popping the blue retired ID on them does help. It conveys the message that I don't give a Rat's ASS about anything they have to say.
