Having been interested at one point in the NG-EADS entry for employment at Mobile, I simply hope everything is above board. The A330 is a proven airframe and the potential for the A330-200F to undergo final assembly at Mobile is a boon for them. The 767 is long in the tooth and a 777 derivative is a very large aircraft. Just trying to be objective. I have seen some of those old KC-135s. Some have been around since I was a little boy.
How any in congress could support Airbus is beyond me beyond the obvious kick-backs from lobbiests.
ReplyDeleteThe incident of the boom aside, this would in most mind's be a clear choice in securing and or providing American jobs!
