Building in the front, first deck. That is where I lived at RTC San Diego for five weeks beginning the first of October 1973.
The inside from near the door. The head was back to the left with the CC Stateroom. And we slept with the windows open.
And the BRAC and a bunch of worthless scum congress critters closed San Diego and Orlando and left that dump north of Chicago open.
Still trying to figure that one out.

  1. Them's some pretty nice digs, comparatively speaking. And it looks like you had one helluva lot more storage than I had in my WWII vintage footlocker.

    Heh.

  2. This was the primary side. We did not have our dress uniforms issued until we "crossed the bridge' to the advanced side.
Then we got hang up space for the Zumwalt Blues with all the stuff that the uniform entailed.

  3. I have been going off on the NTC Great Mistakes on Face Book. The CO said we will agree to disagree on the subject. I called it the Dump on Lake Michigan.
Begin the movement to reopen San Diego!!!!!
