Gratuitous Plane Pr0n

F/A-18F Super Hornet of Strike Fighter Squadron One Two Two, Naval Air Station Lemoore, CA.
The scheme is the same used on the new Navy Working Uniform. The sea service's version of the BDU/ACU or what ever they are calling it these days.
It is also the airframe that is commemorating the Centennial of US Naval Aviation. That will be May 8 of next year. Sorry Air Force, your roots are in the Army Signal Corps. And the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm is the second oldest after the Royal Air Force.

No need to apologize on our behalf. We're proud of our heritage, no matter HOW pedestrian it might be. ;-)

  2. That "camo" pattern isn't really ugly, I've seen it, too. Often. It's just stupid. Pixels? Really? What exactly are you camouflaging (hiding) FROM? This ain't TekWar, fercryinoutloud. Where you gonna hide, in the server? Jeez...
